ClearCorrect™ Basics
ClearCorrect™ is a series of clear aligners developed to straighten your teeth. 3D imaging technology guides the movement of your teeth through the treatment stages. This technology allows you to get a glimpse of your new smile before you begin treatment.
Your aligners are custom-fitted for you, based on your orthodontic needs. Aligner sets are replaced every two weeks in most cases. Each set of trays in the sequence causes a certain degree of tooth movement.
You’ll have a few visits during your treatment to monitor your progress. Occasionally, you’ll wear a set of aligners for a shorter or longer time. Keep your scheduled appointments so your treatment plan stays on track.
ClearCorrect™ Maintenance
What’s fantastic about ClearCorrect™ aligners is their removability. Remove your aligners when you drink, eat, or take care of your teeth. And oral hygiene is a breeze because there are no wires and brackets to work around.
- Brushing and flossing your teeth after meals maintains good oral hygiene. Bring your aligner case and a travel-size kit containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss when you’re away from home.
- Rinse the aligners when you take them out. Clean them with clear antibacterial soap. Soak your aligners in clear aligner cleaning solution or a denture cleaner daily for approximately 15 minutes.
Compliance is the key to successful treatment. Wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day. Remember, only remove them to eat, drink, brush your teeth, or to clean your aligners.
