Dr. Randall L. Shaw
We are fortunate to have Dr. Randall Shaw as our Clinical Director. He spent the first 30 years of his career practicing full-time in Livonia, Michigan. While there, Dr. Shaw transformed the orthodontic practice started by his Father, Dr. Alfred Shaw, and Dr. James Ginzler into a state-of-the-art practice using the best of today’s’ technology. It is his guidance that keeps our practice running so smoothly.
Dr. Shaw was one of few students accepted into dental school at The University of Michigan after only three years of undergraduate study. After completing his dental degree at The University of Michigan, he received his Master of Science in Orthodontics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the first orthodontist in the state to be certified in SureSmile 3D technology and is one of the only orthodontists fully qualified to use lingual braces (behind the teeth).
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Shaw can be found doing yoga, skiing, working out, and racing cars. He and his wife Hillary have two daughters, Lindsey and Melanie.
